This month's theme, "Introducing Myself to Me," focuses on rediscovering who you are beyond your caregiving role. Through meaningful conversation, connection, and encouragement, caregivers will be reminded that their identity, dreams, and well-being matter too. The Life After... Gala is our signature awareness and fundraising event celebrating the achievements, talents, resilience, and individuality of people with disabilities and special needs.
More than a gala, this event provides a platform for participants to be seen, celebrated, and honored for who they are beyond their diagnosis.
Families and caregivers often spend so much time managing daily challenges that opportunities to celebrate milestones can be overlooked. The gala creates a special evening dedicated to recognizing accomplishments, sharing stories, and building a stronger, more inclusive community.
